"Mr. Lake, don't mention it! If there's anything we can do for you, ask Old Master
Lake to let us know, and we'll do it!"

"Yes! Sean and his gang may be capable, but they're nothing compared to the
Lake family. We believe that Old Master Lake will be able to crush these people
soon!"

"Hmph! Theodore and Micheal already have one foot in the grave, yet they got
involved in this. Are they not scared of putting their lives at risk?"

"Who knows what kind of drugs Sean gave the three of them to gang up on the
Lake family, but they're delusional to take on the Lake family!"

Hearing Curtis’ speech, everyone present looked excited as they patted their
chests and assured Curtis.

Although they were tied to the Lake family, the Lake family had never taken them
seriously.

In the Lake family's opinion, they shared the same status as the Lake family’s pet
dogs.

However, if they took on Sean and the others with the Lake family this time and
succeeded, the Lake family's opinion of them would change.

"That's all for today's ceremony. Go home and wait for my notice!"

Curtis said with a smile as he looked at everyone.

The crowd left after hearing this.

After sending everyone away, Curtis drove back to the Lake family's manor.

He met his father in the study.

With a coffee cup in one hand and his eyes slightly closed, Kennedy had
regained his usual calm composure, seemingly to have forgotten about what had

"You're back. Is everything taken care of?"

Hearing Curtis’ voice, Kennedy slowly opened his eyes and asked.

Curtis’ expression froze as he said awkwardly, "After you left, that damn Titus
suddenly jumped out and mentioned what happened on your 50th birthday.
"After that, most of the Ocean City dignitaries we invited left, but those who
remained made up about a third of Ocean City's dignitaries and are willing to help
us fight Sean, Theodore, Micheal, and Jadon!"

Kennedy did not show any signs of shock or surprise as if he had already
expected that.

He nodded and said faintly, "Go to the hospital and check if Maxwell is awake.
Bring them to me if he is."

"Yes!"

Curtis nodded and turned around to walk away.

Titus returned home with Winnie and immediately told Trenton and Aaron what
had happened at the opening ceremony.

The heads of the second and third branches laughed out loud when they heard
Titus' briefing and saw the photos taken on his phone.

"Hahaha! Kennedy has enjoyed all the glory for years, and he finally got
humiliated!

"Judging from his expression, I'm afraid he's mad today. I wonder if his anger
triggered anything!"

Aaron laughed as he spoke with a gloating expression.

Trenton did not speak, but his face was equally full of joy.

"Uncle Trenton, Dad, it's a pity you didn't come today!

"You didn't see the interesting look on Kennedy and Curtis’ faces!"

Titus recounted what happened at tonight's opening ceremony in vivid detail.
Looking at his excitement people might think that he was the one who beat Lake
Security Services' five men.

After a while, Titus stopped his exuberant storytelling, picked up the coffee pot on
the table, and poured himself a cup of coffee.

After a sip of coffee, he continued, "Dad, I'm going to learn some self-defense
skills from one of Mr. Lennon's men! I have taken him as my teacher!"
