"W-What?"

Hearing Titus’ answer, Peter's expression changed as he instantly looked at
Titus.

Titus pointed to the dagger on the couch in the private room and said coldly, "I
sat there earlier, and the guy who brought me the wine suddenly came at me with
a dagger. If it weren't for Brother Lennon, I'd be dead now! F*ck, isn't Black Gold
Bar supposed to be the most secure bar in Ocean City? How could such a thing
happen?"

No one would feel good for almost getting killed.

Titus knew that the five assassins from Darkness had come for him and had
struck at Black Gold Bar only because he had come to Black Gold Bar.

However, that did not stop Titus from picking on Peter or Black Gold Bar.
Although he was not as important as Crystal, the owner of Black Gold Bar, he
was still the heir of the Lake family's second branch. Few people in Ocean City
dared to mess with him.

"Well... Why don't you wait for me while I consult our boss, Mr. Lake?" Peter
asked cautiously.

It was a matter of life and death, and he dared not think he had a close
relationship with Titus.

After all, they were only customers and servers and had nothing much to do with
each other.

The two could normally exchange polite remarks and call each other buddy, but
in this case, Peter was glad that Titus did not beat him up. He dared not consider
himself Titus' friend.

"You mean the Yorker family's eldest daughter has arrived?" Titus asked with a
solemn look.

Peter nodded slightly, not daring to hide anymore. He immediately said," Ms.
Yorker arrived more than ten minutes ago and is now in Sky Room 1 next door."
"Okay, ask Ms. Yorker what to do about my nearly getting killed in Black Gold
Bar!" Titus answered after nodding slightly.

As if he had been granted amnesty, Peter quickly turned around and left Sky
Room 2, not daring to stay too long.

After Peter left, Titus looked at Sean and said, "Brother Lennon, these people
came for me. If Ms. Yorker finds out, will she..." "Hmm? Are you afraid?"

Sean raised his eyebrows before adding with a smile, "You usually seem fearless
in Ocean City. Why are you afraid when it comes to someone from Janestown?"
Titus smiled awkwardly and answered, "After all, she's the eldest daughter of one
of Janestown's top eight families. Even the Lake family's main branch is no
match for her. If I offend Ms. Yorker, I'll get injured even if I don't die!"

Sean also shook his head and smiled before saying, "It's a small matter. With me
around, Crystal won't do anything to you. But remember not to provoke her if she
comes over later. I can keep you safe, but your good days are over if you offend
that girl."

As if recalling something, Sean's smile could not help but widen slightly.

Titus also nodded seriously.

Now that he knew that Crystal's family was one of Janestown's top eight families
and was more powerful than the Lake family in Janestown, he dared not cause
more trouble, not to mention mess with Crystal.
