Sean glanced at Kennedy and said with a smile, "That's the only grudge I have
against you two. But you got my fiancee involved. You didn't think you'd get away
with it, did you? Why should I waste so much time in Ocean City if we can move
past it just because you apologized?"

Kennedy fell to the ground, knowing the Lake family was doomed.

No! The Lake family's first branch was doomed.

"There's no point in crying over spilled milk. Curtis has always been arrogant
because he's the heir of the Lake family's first branch. Those he bullied in the
past were too scared to speak out and seek revenge. But Curtis was a fool to
kidnap Mr. Lennon's fiancee. Isn't he asking for trouble? " Titus said with a sneer,
making the situation worse.

Slumped on the ground with a desolate expression, Kennedy seemed to think of
something before his eyes glimmered suddenly. Then, he stumbled into the Lake
Residence house.

Sean did not stop him. Kennedy could only pin his hopes on Max, the second
heir of the Lake family from Janestown.

"Mr. Lennon, when did you get engaged?" Crystal looked at Sean, her eyes
glimmering with curiosity.

Sean glanced at her and answered with a smile, "I'll find a chance to introduce
you to each other. By the way, what's the purpose of your visit to Ocean City?"
Crystal also turned solemn, asking, "Mr. Lennon, you know about the Winters
family, don't you?"

Sean raised his eyebrows and nodded.

Crystal added, "The Winters family's current patriarch, Fabian Winters, who is
also Ocean City's mayor. His late wife was my aunt... I came to Ocean City to
bring my aunt's ashes back to Janestown..."

Jadon and the rest looked like they had seen a ghost once she said that.
Fabian's wife turned out to be the heiress of the Yorker family from Janestown. It
was no wonder Fabian suddenly rose to become Ocean City's mayor, taking the
Winters family to new heights.

Many dignitaries in Ocean City wondered if Fabian's sudden rise was due to
some hidden power in the Winters family. However, the question that had long

Fabian suddenly became Ocean City's mayor not because of the Winters family
but the Yorker family from Janestown.

Sean also frowned slightly before saying solemnly, "Did the Yorker family receive
word that someone attacked while your aunt's ashes were being transported
back to the Winters family from Greenrie Cathedral outside of town some time
ago?"

"What? Who has the nerve to touch the ashes of a member of the Yorker family?"
Crystal's face darkened, her eyes flashing with sheer murderousness.

Sean added, "Blaze has built an organization called Darkness over the years.
They were the ones to do it. Besides that, Fabian's cousin, Hayes has also struck
before."

Crystal's expression grew dark as a hint of malice emanated from her body.
