Chapter 2583

After leaving Optimus Security Services, Sean returned to the villa alone. Sitting
alone in the living room, Sean pulled out his phone and called

Willow.

Beep, beep, beep.

There was a busy signal after the phone rang twice.

Sean raised his eyebrows, a look of surprise in his eyes. However, he did not
think much of it, only assuming Willow was unavailable to talk.

Ding!

However, Sean received a text message once he put down his phone. He picked
up his phone to find a text message from Willow.

Willow: [I can't come to the phone right now. What do you need?]

The message was simple.

Sean raised his eyebrows and immediately edited a text message on his phone.
Sean: [I'm leaving Ocean City and want to see you before I go to Janestown.]
However, Sean never got a reply after sending the text message. Sean's
expression changed slightly before calling Willow again.

This time, the call went through.

Sean breathed a sigh of relief as the call was put through. He thought Willow was
in some danger, and the fact that she answered the phone proved that she was
not.

"Sean..."

However, before Sean could speak, Willow was heard crying on the phone.
Sean's face instantly darkened before he said solemnly, "What happened?"
"N-Nothing happened. Nothing happened..." Willow whispered, her voice trailing
off.

Sean took a deep breath and slowly said, "Tell me. I promised you I would help
you no matter what trouble you're facing!"

Willow did not answer immediately, but Willow's sobbing kept coming from the
phone.

Even though Sean was anxious, he did not urge Willow.

"Sean... The Goldberg family from Janestown came to Quinn Residence
earlier..." Willow sobbed.

A dark malice flickered in Sean's eyes. Sean already noticed something was
bothering Willow the last time she was in Ocean City. Willow refused to talk about
it, so Sean did not insist.

Willow's behavior showed that the issue with the Goldberg family had reached a
point where she could not delay it any longer.

"Why did the Goldberg family go to Quinn Residence?" Sean asked solemnly.
Willow was silent for a few seconds before answering, "Walt Goldberg said he
wants to marry into the Quinn family, and I'm his target. The Quinn family has
agreed.”

Sean's hand on the couch tightened.

Crack! Crack!

The sound of something cracking came from the couch, which showed Sean's
anger.

Perhaps afraid of Sean misunderstanding her, Willow hurriedly explained,” Sean,
I didn't mean to keep this from you... I just didn't want you to worry..."

Sean slowly let go and replied with a smile, "I thought it was a big deal, but it's
just the Goldberg family. You don't have to worry about it. I'll help you settle this.
I'll leave for Janestown tomorrow. I'll contact you again when I arrive in
Janestown!"

Willow slowly said, "Okay... I'll also head to Janestown tomorrow. Sean, I don't
want to be apart from you anymore. And I don't want to return to Quinn
Residence anymore..."
