The realization caused the stunned Bone Cliff to gape, as the Apex Spears were made from the femurs of ancient tiger beasts
and enhanced with rune enchantments..
How did he manage to crack them with a single strike? On top of that, his sword wasn’t even wielded at full power. This is
ridiculous!
“It seems I’ve underestimated you, young man. However, no matter how strong you are, you’re nothing but an insect to me,”
Bone Cliff declared haughtily.
With that, he pressed his palms together in front of his chest and forced out a drop of soul blood between his brows.
As the soul blood subsequently floated into the air, it exploded into a mist of blood that soon encapsulated all the Apex Spears.
Enhanced by the blood mist, the runes on the Apex Spears emitted a reddish glow.
In response to the development, Jared showed no hesitation. Swinging Dragonslayer Sword, he morphed into a flash of lightning
and charged at Bone Cliff. The radiant light of Dragonslayer Sword swept toward the latter like a raging tempest.
Meanwhile, Bone Cliff combined the Apex Spears into one again and engaged Jared in battle. Every time Apex Spear was
swung, an apparition of a terrifying tiger would attack Jared with its jaws opened wide.
Despite the attacks of the countless apparitions, Jared pierced through them all, sword in hand. With his speed reaching its
peak, Jared fought at full strength. Sparks from the clashing steel quickly filled the sky.
As neither of them held anything back, everyone could see sword shadows flying back and forth in midair, the ensuing howls
sounded as if they had come from the depths of hell itself.
The battle was so intense that it shook the heavens and the earth, and everyone could only watch with stunned expressions.
At that moment, no one could tell which figure was whose, nor could they even track the fighters’ trajectory. All they saw were
incomplete afterimages left behind by the battling duo.
“This is crazy! If we were to help Jared, we would be killed in an instant!” Renault exclaimed with his forehead already drenched
in cold sweat.
Despite being a Tribulator, he recognized that even he was incapable of exhibiting such terrifying power. Jared’s strength had
indeed far exceeded his imagination.

No one could have expected a lowly Body Fusion Realm cultivator to be able to unleash an aura and strength that was superior
to that of a Tribulator. Consequently, all the cultivators present were filled with disbelief.
They were already blown away earlier when Jared killed the silverfeather hawk by invoking the lightning tribulation. Even then,
they still couldn’t imagine that the latter could hold his own against an ancient cultivator.
There’s no way a Body Fusion Realm cultivator can possess such speed and power, is there? Everyone had their mouths wide
open in shock. If we were to take Jared on, we would be slaughtered in a second!

An explosion rang out suddenly, filling the sky with a golden light. Thereafter, the roar of a dragon was heard as Bone Cliff’s body
was sent flying away.
Gripping Apex Spear as if his life depended on it, Bone Cliff knew that he would lose it the very moment he let go. After he was
thrown back a certain distance, Bone Cliff’s expression drastically changed as he stared daggers at Jared. In contrast to him,
Jared was a sea of calm..
“It seems that a brutal battle is exactly what’s needed to trigger the potential within my body after having achieved a
breakthrough.”
Jared found himself relishing in the fight. However, Bone Cliff was overwhelmed with dejection when he realized that Jared saw
him as a training dummy instead of a worthy foe. Having lived for thousands of years, Bone Cliff couldn’t tolerate the scorn Jared
showed him.
“The reason you can still act so arrogantly, brat, is that a soul remnant is all that’s left of me. That said, you had better not
underestimate me, for I’m going to destroy you even if I were to perish!”
Utterly infuriated, Bone Cliff wanted Jared dead, even if he lost his own life in the process. The next moment, he released his
grip on Apex Spear, and a bloody hue began to glow around his body.
