Zach said, “Tomorrow, I’ll have someone install some extra lights near the front door. By the way, we’ve
just developed a new device at the company that allows your phone to receive identity recognition alerts
If anyone enters when I’m not home.”

all sound fancy, Madelyn thought.
The person hiding in the shadows stood downstairs, watching as the lights in the house gradually.

sure to tuck her in properly.

There’s often heavy rain and thunder these days, and Dal keeps getting woken up and starts crying. Things can’t keep going on
like this.”
Zach replied, “Got it. I’ll have Kevin come over tomorrow to take a look. I’m going to have a smoke.”

Dalton lay in Madelyn’s arms, and his crying gradually subsided. Listening to the rain tapering off, she went to open the curtains

Madelyn sat on the couch, holding her head. “Now, every time I close my eyes, all I see is that person with burns all over her
body. Zach, what have you been up to? She’s even gotten into the house. If she shows up again, what am I supposed to do?”
He responded, “There won’t be a next time. If you’re worried, come to work with me tomorrow. That way, there’s no need to be
