The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning

Chapter 1181
Blake bought some groceries from the supermarket downstairs, like
frozen food and drinks. She then ran all the way back to her
apartment in the rain before going upstairs using the elevator. As
Blake used the fingerprint scanner, she was suddenly blinded and
strangled. She was then pinned to the wall with a knife placed on her
neck.
“K-Kevin?” Blake asked while trembling. After that, she felt Kevin put
his hand down.
“Turn the lights on,” Kevin ordered.
Blake obliged, “Alright.”
Kevin sat on the sofa while placing his knife on the coffee table. After Blake turned on the lights, she put her things down. She
also smelled the metallic scent of blood wafting through the living room. Blake hurriedly walked over and saw Kevin sitting on the
sofa with a pale
expression. She asked him, “Are you hurt?”

Kevin ignored her question and asked her back, “What are you doing
here?”
Blake knelt before him and argued, “I asked you first. Where are you
hurt? Tell me now. Why didn’t you go to the hospital?” Her voice trembled as she spoke, and her gaze drifted to the bloody gauze
in the trash bin. The sight of it terrified her.
Kevin swatted her hand away and said, “Stop bothering me. If you have nothing else to do, go home.”

“If you don’t tell me now, I won’t go home. Why didn’t you call me
when you got hurt? Why? Why do you keep hiding things from me? Do you know how much I’ve missed you? You don’t return
my calls or my messages. You admitted that we were a couple, yet why do you keep distancing yourself from me?” Blake started
ranting.
“Kevin!” Blake shouted, then attempted to pull him off. However, she did not expect Kevin to crash to the ground from just a slight
tug. Blake held onto him in a panic, but Kevin was too huge. She ended up cushioning him while Kevin crashed onto her.
Blake could hear Kevin grunt in pain and asked, “Are you okay? I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose. I didn’t know you were that
injured. Let me help you up.”

Kevin stopped her, “Don’t move.”
Blake gave in, “Fine, I won’t move. Did I hurt your wound? Are you injured anywhere else?”
Kevin propped himself up with his hands, trying to stand up. Blake wanted to help him up, but before she could, Kevin fell down
again.
“What’s wrong, Kevin? Don’t worry; you’re going to be fine,” Blake comforted him. Then, she felt something touch her hand.
When she looked down, she saw that her hand was now drenched in blood.
