The child’s gaze was innocent and naive. Ethan felt a jolt in his heart when he lowered his head to meet the child’s eyes. With a
glance, it reminded him of the painful memories from his childhood. Ethan’s complexion was even more unpleasant than
expected, and his demeanor became icy.
Evelyn gave a signal to Marta. Understanding the look, Marta stepped forward and picked up the child “Mr. Arnold Jr., I’ll take
