Harvey and the others pushed the luxurious door open; many were gathered there.
They were dressed from head to toe in extravagant clothing and accessories, and bore cheerful expressions.
The women had large jewelry hanging around them, while the men had expensive dazzling on their wrists.
The aura they exuded could only be considered rich and lavish. Ordinary people wouldn’t even be able to compare.
Their heads immediately turned as soon as Mandy and the others walked in.
Many eyes lit up when they saw Mandy’s gorgeous face.
A few young men with well-done hair looked at her with fearful yet profound gazes.
Naturally, a goddess like Mandy was quite rare even in a place with a rich history such as the Golden Sands.
“Mandy, Jovie, Vienna, you’re here.”
A young man with a slightly bald head strutted over.
His looks weren’t at all attractive, and his figure wasn’t up to standard either. His entire body was covered in luxury brands, and
there were massive golden rings on his fingers. His face was also greasy and oily. It was quite apparent that he was an upstart.
“Look at yourself, Mr. Burton! Now that you’re here, you need to dress your part!”
“At least have some standards!”
“We’ll all be made fun of because of you!”
Vienna scoffed coldly, a hint of disdain showing on her face.
On the other hand, Mandy quickly introduced the man in front of Harvey.
“Harvey, this is Thomas Burton. He’s a local here. He was just a small fry until he came all the way here with his garbage-sorting
business. He currently has at least millions of dollars worth of assets.”

“That’s how he got the title of Garbage King.”
“That said, I heard the government here is trying to get into the business themselves. Thomas might just go bankrupt if that
actually happens.”
Harvey nodded. No wonder Vienna was showing an attitude to that man.
If there was no word about such a thing, Vienna would’ve pounced right into his arms.
Everything was purely business. There were no friends; only eternal benefits.
Of course, nobody would hesitate to trample on people without any value.
Once there is some value, however, everyone would stick to the person and put them on a pedestal without hesitation.
“I’d like a new change of clothes too, but I couldn’t help it.”
Thomas, on the other hand, had no intention to hide anything.
“My company assets were frozen by the government. They said that they wanted to be in charge. of the garbage-sorting
business.”
“I’d be no different than those lowly peasants without my clothes.”
“So, please! Don’t mind me.”
Thomas was showing his upstart attitude, but he was oddly respectful compared to the gloomy- looking wealthy people.
Vienna was filled with disdain after hearing Thomas’s words. She finally confirmed the rumors that Thomas was about to go
bankrupt.
She quickly took a few steps back to prevent his foul stench from reaching her.
“You’re here, Mandy! It’s only been a few days, but you already look more beautiful than before.”
Thomas clearly wasn’t here for Vienna in the first place; his face was filled with joy when he saw Mandy.
“It’s a shame my company’s about to go bankrupt.”

“If not, I would’ve chased you down for the seven hundred and thirty thousand dollars you lent me to make ends meet!”
