At the same time, on top of a mountain far away, Salem put his telescope down. He looked curious.

"Isn't that a good thing for us, Salem ?" Conrad asked with a small smile.

Salem glanced at Conrad.

Conrad fell into deep thought. "So what do we do now?"
Salem chuckled.
"We'll keep watching, and see if we get a chance to take action.
"Even if we don't, we'd be able to figure out just how strong Harvey York is.
"Judging from the current situation, Rhodes must be the most powerful one out of the group. Since even the genetically enhanced warrior was scared of him, he must be pretty impressive."
Conrad frowned. "He's just a descendant of the Wright family. He's not Emery. Why should we be scared?"
Salem glared at Conrad. "Let's change places. The big show hasn't started yet. That scene was just an appetizer..."
An hour later, under the peak of the Eden Mountain.
Thick clouds covered the entire sky; the weather was scorching hot, but it looked as if it was about to rain.
Harvey and the rest arrived here from the Mandrake Residence, and counted the time.
The Aenar Temple was in the middle of the Eden Mountain, hidden completely from the naked eye.
After traveling up the mountain for less than a mile, they located the guest hall. Their goal would be accomplished as soon as the beads were delivered there.
The two side lanes of the Eden Mountain were decorated with yellow, maroon, and navy colored cloth. The cloth fluttering in the wind represented the sects' highest respect.
