Chapter 1416
[The secret romance between a big shot and a pig.]
[Is Xavier okay?]
At last, the pig gave birth to its first piglet as Xavier sang love songs to it.
"Yes, it's out! You’re doing great, keep going!" Xavier said encouragingly as he held the sticky little piglet, feeling himself tear up
as he stared at the tiny creature. In the past, he always felt that children were horrible demons, but when he held the little piglet
in his hands, he suddenly felt like he wanted to have children.
Oh, yes. He would have children with Leia when this show was over.
Eventually, all the chaos ended, and a few dozen piglets were sprawled across the pigsty. Jayden grinned happily knowing his
future business was secured.
Xavier had swiftly prevented the other guests from interfering, and had won 1000 points in the end. Additionally, Jayden and the
village secretary awarded Xavier with a red flower and a banner declaring him the 'best midwife for sows I
Xavier proudly looked at the red flower pinned to his dirtied expensive shirt, and swaggered over to Leia as if he had just secured
a million-dollar contract. "Look, I did it. I told you not to be so smug! Looks like our situations are reversed now."
Leia stared at his filthy clothes and messy hair, and hesitantly gave him a thumbs-up. "Mister, you definitely went all out. I'm
convinced."
At night, Xavier set up an outdoor seafood barbecue party. Everyone sat around the bonfire and chatted happily, and Xavier gave
Santiago some tasks so he couldn't escape and go to Leia.
Leia, however, didn't attend the party. She leaned on the balcony railing in her villa, watching the serene sea quietly. It was dark,
and she couldn't see anything, but for some reason, she felt at peace.
Xavier had come to stand behind Leia at some point, and he asked her softly, "What are you looking at?"
"Ah! How did you get in here?" Leia gasped as she spun around and glared at Xavier. "Didn't I prohibit you from coming into my
villa without my permission?"
"Stop being so stubborn. This villa will be mine tomorrow..." Xavier checked the time and smirked. "In four hours, actually. When
that happens, you won't have this beautiful sea view unless I allow it."
"How mean," Leia muttered, controlling her words but silently cursing him in her heart. If she really did get the cottage, she had
to rely on his kindness to get a room here to survive.
"Good. You're nicer now." Xavier nodded in satisfaction. He had sacrificed a lot today just for this small moment of victory.
Suddenly, his expression turned serious, and he turned to Leia. "Hey, do you want to see the most beautiful view on this island?"
