The Untouchable Ex-Wife

Stefan frowned. “What do you mean?” “Never mind, it’s nothing.” Renee mumbled and then
turned to the doctor.” Take my blood. Now!”
After that, she rushed into the surgery room.
“Take mine too.” Stefan followed her quickly. He felt that a man should bear this kind of
burden.
“You both...” This was the first time the doctor had faced such a situation, but he didn’t want
to waste any time. “Alright. Both of you can donate blood in case we need a lot of it.”
Finally, Joanne was saved due to Renee and Stefan’s joint efforts. When her condition was
stable, she was transferred into an ordinary ward.
“Are you alright?” Renee and Stefan asked each other at the same time as they exited the
surgery room.
“I’m fine. I told you that my hematopoietic function is very strong.” Stefan put his hands in
his pockets and raised his brows slightly.
“Yeah, you’re very strong. But you fainted earlier, didn’t you?” Renee asked, raising an
eyebrow.
“No, I didn’t. I just dozed off.”
“If you say so. You should get a doctor to cure your hemophobia, by the way. It shouldn’t go
on like this.” Renee was sincerely worried about him—it was a natural instinct.
“You care so much about me... I think you’ve forgotten that we’re enemies.” Stefan was
secretly happy that Renee was worried about him, but he pretended to be indifferent.

“We can stop the war temporarily. Now that we’ve lost blood, we should support each other.
We can fight after we get better.” Renee raised her head and looked at the clock on the wall,
saying, “Why don’t we eat something nice to replenish our blood?”
“Great idea.” Stefan gladly agreed to it. H Group had cooperated with Benjamin before, so
he had been to Goldshire a few times. He was quite familiar with the place, and he knew
where all the local delicacies were.
They went to the largest food hall nearby, which was full of food stalls and high-end
restaurants.
“What do you like to eat?” Stefan asked Renee in a rather gentlemanly manner.
“I’m not a picky eater.”
“Okay, let’s go and get some local delicacies.” It was rare to see him so enthusiastic.
Pursing his lips, he behaved like a tour guide as he walked through the lively food hall with
Renee.
At last, they took a few turns before they came to a very narrow and desolate alley.
When Renee saw the colourful LED sign, the decaying wall, and the locals’ gazes, she
subconsciously swallowed. “Hey, are you trying to sell me to someone?’
“What? You think I want to sell you?” Stefan sized her up and scoffed,” Look at you. Which
part of your body could I even sell?”
