The Untouchable Ex-Wife

Chapter 1620
Renee was in her bedroom on the second floor, lying in bed weakly. She could vaguely hear the fight downstairs, but was too
tired to get up and listen to it. Ever since she became blind, she seemed to have lost track of time; it felt like only a day had
passed since she had lost her sight.
Leia knocked on the door and walked into the bedroom. “Ren, how are you feeling?” She walked over and sat down near
Renee’s bed. Her heart ached at the sight of Renee’s dispirited look.
“I’m fine, I’m just a little tired.” Renee tried her best to sit up, and leaned against the bed in despair.
Leia found it strange. It had been only a few days, but Renee had become unusually weak. A pregnancy couldn’t cause this kind
of fatigue, and even if it did, Renee wouldn’t be so uninterested in the arrival of a child.
“Are you keeping something from US, Ren? You seem quite weak.” Leia held Renee’s hand and asked in concern.
“No, I’m just so bored that I got lazy. I’m good,” Renee took a deep breath and said energetically. Currently, only she and Owen
were aware that she was suffering from heavy metal poisoning. She didn’t tell Stefan and Leia about it because she didn’t want
them to worry about her.Books Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated for All Books Updates...
“Are you tired because of the pregnancy?” Leia asked again. Although it didn’t really make sense, she couldn’t find any other
reason. “It’s very tiring when you’re pregnant. How deep a woman’s love is for her man that she would give birth to his children
for him! Well, you and Stefan really seem to love each other since two weren’t enough and there’s a third on the way. I, on the
other hand, am sure I won’t give birth to any man’s child.” “Didn’t Dr. Wagner tell you? I’m not pregnant!” Renee smiled. “And
sometimes having kids is written in the stars. When it’s time, the child will come. I didn’t expect Adie and Abby back then either,
and I wasn’t planning to give birth to them initially, but I soldiered through it in the end. I didn’t regret it either.” “What? You’re not
pregnant?” Leia was shocked. She hadn’t paid attention to Renee’s pregnancy lately because she had been busy searching for
suitable eyes for Renee, but there was no way she wasn’t pregnant. “No, that can’t be. The pregnancy test was positive!”
“Pregnancy tests aren’t always accurate. In short... I’m not pregnant.”
Leia could instantly tell that Renee was lying given how long they had known each other. Refusing to give up, she continued,
“No, you must be lying. I bought that test, and I saw you do it. It can’t be wrong-you must be pregnant. But... you don’t want the
child, do you?”
