Chapter 161 All For Nothing
Bethany did not dare to say that Kent was throwing a tantrum in the study. She smiled and said tactfully. “You’re back? It’s time to
eat. If there’s anything, we can discuss it after dinner.”
Abigail looked at Alexander, waiting for his reply with her eyes.
“Okay,” Alexander replied.
Indeed, she had not been eating well for the past few days.
“Take a seat first. We’ll eat soon. I’ll call your father. He’s busy in the study.” Bethany said with a smile and went upstairs.
She had to remind Kent not to lose his temper in front of Alexander.
Bethany went to the study to tell Kent that Alexander and Abbie were back.

Alexander was back. He could not lose his patience.

Don’t lose your temper in front of your son-in-law.”

Bethany was speechless. She was pissed!
Everyone sat at the dining table to eat.
There were more than ten dishes. All of them were meat.
The nanny’s culinary skills were superb. The dishes she made had amazing visuals and were delicious. However, the
atmosphere at the table was somewhat tense.
Initially, the atmosphere was quite good. No matter how unhappy Kent was, he did not show it. He very warmly asked Alexander
to eat more food.

Later, Abigail mentioned the distribution. She even said she talked about it on the phone previously. She asked if Kent had a
specific distribution plan.

“You signed it?” Abigail was incredulous.
“Yes,” Kent replied.
What else could he do if he didn’t sign it? He dared not offend Julian.
Abigail was so angry that he couldn’t help but raise his voice. “Dad, how can you sign such an important agreement at such a
critical moment? If you sign it, Annalise becomes a major shareholder. How can she help us distribute garments? Dad, you must
be out of your mind. Didn’t we agree before that no matter what, we have to stall for time? Even if she can win the lawsuit, won’t
it take some time? We can do a lot of things during this period of time.”
“Stop it.” Kent was furious.
He said, “I have other companies under my name. My new company will be in charge of distributing Alexander’s garments.”
Abigail was delighted. She immediately asked, “How much can you help distribute?”

silently.
Alexander’s phone rang.
Tony called. As soon as the call went through, Tony asked, “I heard you went to Horington?”

Tony asked again, “Why did you go to Horington?”

going to meet Joseph. Annalise might know Joseph, so I followed them all the way. But too bad I lost them.”
Tony said, “There’s no need to follow them. I have news regarding Joseph.”
He called to tell his son about this.
“You have news? Where is he secretly living?” Alexander asked.
Tony said, “I don’t know, but he will personally attend next month’s Medical Conference.”
Alexander kept quiet.
He cursed in his heart.
Why did he spend so much time and energy following Julian and even lose him in the end?
If he had known that Joseph would attend the Medical Conference, he would have just waited. He should have spent the past
two days optimizing the sales of garments.

Feeling suffocated, he asked his assistant to book a flight back to Jadeborough that night.

Now, he was disgusted by Abigail.

Abigail was speechless when she learned that Alexander had only booked his own plane ticket.
