Chapter 326 Uncovering My Wife’s Secrets
"You!" Jasmine was mad and furious. Jolene argued, "I'm simply stating the truth. Why should Lily's remains be placed in the
house of the Xander family?" "I won't argue with her on account of the deceased. I'm no pushover. Ultimately, I am the only one
with the final say in our family." She warned Jasmine not to think too highly of herself and try not to push her limits by challenging
her. Although she never felt the need to fight for anything, it didn't imply that she could be bullied. "You!" Jasmine did not expect
Jolene to be so firm and fierce.
"If you continue to stall for time, you'll have to guard Lily's and Yechiel's remains. I'm going to send him to the crematorium for
cremation now. No matter what hurtful things he had done to me, I hope he can rest in peace," Jolene said. Jasmine was
speechless. How infuriating it is. It is evident that Jolene had not visited her father even once to bid him a final goodbye from the
beginning till the end of his life. However, the blame for this was eventually placed on Jasmine. Lee whispered, "Let's send him
to the crematorium now." If it weren't to prevent his father from growing suspicious and beginning to investigate the cause of
Yechiel's death, he wouldn't even want to do this.
The family went to the crematorium. Old Mr. Xander wanted to go personally. Sitting in the black private car, he felt heartbroken
as his heart ached with sorrow. When he imagined the scene when Yechiel's remains were being pushed into the crematorium
for cremation, his entire body trembled uncontrollably. Only those who had experienced the agony of losing a child could
empathize with the pain. He responded, "I won't be going. You guys go ahead... Lee, please help to send Julian and Nancy off."
As for Lily, he hated her very much to the core. He didn't care whether her remains were to be cremated or not. "Okay." Lee
replied. Sybil was afraid that Samuel was not feeling well, so she took the initiative to stay and take care of him.
Lee brought the two remains to cremation. When Yechiel was pushed into the cremator for cremation, Jasmine cried her eyes
out. Kristen also cried, but it was not as exaggerated as Jasmine's. She stood in the corner while leaning against the wall and
cried silently. Jolene was heartbroken. After all, they had been married for nearly 20 years. She was saddened by the situation;
like an abandoned dog begging for shelter, she had once promised herself that she would never turn back. But in the end, she
found it irresistible when someone threw a bone at her. Lee was expressionless the entire time. Julian, whom he once respected
and considered as important as his own life, turned out to be the enemy who harmed his wife and children.
This hatred would never disappear forever. In addition to the family members from Xander residence, Lee's uncles, aunts, and
cousins also came to send them off. Madison Xander is the daughter of Lee's cousin and has always considered herself as the
wealthy heiress of the Xander family. She felt extremely upset when she saw Nancy's and Yechiel's remains being pushed into
the cremator. Nancy had yet to give her the 1.5 million dollars she had promised. It turned out that people's joys and sorrows
were not interconnected and mutually understandable. Yechiel was cremated. Some people cried hysterically, while others felt
their anger had been vented. They felt like they had finally taken revenge on him. After the cremation, the ashes will be sent for
burial.
The graves of Yechiel, Lily, and Nancy were all arranged by Lee Lee specifically instructed that Nancy, who was married into the
Zeller family along with Lily, should not be buried in the Xander family's cemetery. Although it is now a public cemetery, the
Xander family bought a section of it long ago. Lee Xander had the exorcist choose a secluded section of the public cemetery for
the graves of Yechiel, Lily, and Nancy. The plot of land was impromptu purchased by the assistant and is far from Yechiel's
grave. Jasmine was also very displeased with this matter. He questioned Lee, "Uncle, why is my father's grave in such a
secluded corner?" "If you know astrology, you can arrange it yourself. You can choose whatever corner you want," Lee replied
reluctantly. Old Mr. Xander also came to the public cemetery and saw Jasmine Xander creating trouble again. He sighed wearily,
"Jasmine, let your father rest in peace." He felt extremely tired and exhausted.
The workers began the burial ceremony. Just after the burial, it started to rain. It was raining cats and dogs, and the bean-
shaped size rain droplets fell to the ground. Everyone quickly got into the car. Lee asked Sybil to take their father home while he
went to check on Annalise's situation. After everyone left, Lee looked at the sky and let the rain wash his face. He laughed and
cried at the same time. "Heather, are you crying now? Did you see that? Yechiel and Lily are dead. They're finally dead." Lee
walked from the cemetery to Annalise's villa. He walked for three hours in one breath. When he reached villa Annalise, he was
fully drenched. He appeared at the doorstep, fully drenched, startling Trevor and Annalise. They were in shock upon seeing him.
"Dad!" The two of them rushed over.
They felt upset when they saw that Lee's eyes were very red. Lee smiled. "Hey, is it time to eat?" "Soon. I've already prepared
the ingredients. I'm waiting for you to come back home to cook. Dad, shower and change your clothes first," Annalise exclaimed.
"Okay," Lee replied. He had to change into clean clothes and eat with the children. He had been too busy these past few days
and did not have time for a good reunion meal with the children. Lee took a shower and changed into pajamas. The house was
warm with the heater on. Julian had something to do at the office in the morning, so he was rushing back. He went to get some
wine to drink with his father-in-law, Trevor. Annalise asked the kitchen servants to cook.
Soon, the fragrance of food came out from the kitchen. Lee took a sniff. The fragrance of the dishes was so nice that he felt like
a lifetime had passed. Their family would be so happy and blissful if Heather were still around! The servants placed the bowls
and chopsticks. Lee originally wanted to put in an extra set of bowls and chopsticks, but he feared the children would be sad. He
thought, "Heather, come, let's have a reunion. dinner as a family." He raised his glass and said, "Kalyan, Anna, I must apologize
to you two first. I haven't protected you all well all these years." Annalise and Trevor immediately picked up their glasses and
stood up. Annalise's cup was filled with soup. Using soup as a substitute for wine, she exclaimed, "Dad, you didn't don't know
where we were in the past. You're very good. I'm proud to have a father like you."
Trevor added, "Dad, I'm very grateful to god for allowing our family to be reunited." He was hoping that his mother was still alive.
That would be even more blissful, but he already had a father and sister. He could not hope for more. Julian continued, "Today is
the day of reunion. No matter how much pain we have experienced, it's all in the past. I hope that every day in the future will be
simple and happy." Lee nodded. "Yes, it's all in the past. From now on, every day will be peaceful." Heather had exchanged her
life for this! He raised his glass and gulped down the glass of bitter wine. He smiled, "Alright, let's drink this glass of wine. Let's
continue and eat. In the future, we must take good care of our health." In the future, he wants to set a good example for his
children and live every day with a bright smile so that children can feel happiness and joy in the family. After dinner, Lee told
Annalise, "Anna, bring me to Heather's grave. I want to take a look."
