My Rich Hot and Infertile or Maybe Not Husband

Chapter 895
Mason snapped back to reality. He stared at Celeste and after a few seconds of silence, then replied, “What’s up?”
Celeste frowned, “You don’t look so good, are you feeling okay?”
“No, I’m fine,” Mason managed a weak smile. He put down the roses and touched his temple, “I think it’s just some side effects
from my new meds. Sometimes they make me dizzy”
Just as Celeste was about to speak, she noticed blood on Mason’s temple, She gasped, “You’re bleeding!”
“Huh?” Mason looked puzzled and reached up to touch it, but Celeste grabbed his sleeve, “It’s your hand that’s bleeding”
Mason looked down and saw his right palm smeared with blood, several small cuts still bleeding
The roses he had put aside were also stained with some blood. Clearly, he had been pricked by the rose thorns.
“One, two, three...”
Celeste sat beside him, cleaning his wounds and counting the number of cuts. Finally, she exclaimed in surprise, “Sixt Six
puncture wounds, didn’t you feel it?”
Mason shook his head, “I’m kinda numb to pain.”
Celeste prudently closed her mouth and chose not to speak further.
She had asked about this during her grandmother’s birthday party and Mason had explained that his burns made him insensitive
to pain. She couldn’t ask again.
But she was still a bit confused. His arm had been burned and was therefore a bit numb to pain, but his palm wasn’t burned. Six
puncture wounds and he didn’t feel any pain at all?
With this thought, Celeste’s gaze softened and filled with confusion
The wounds weren’t deep, but the blood wouldn’t stop flowing. She wiped it with a cotton swab, and immediately new blood
beads appeared.
Celeste found it strange and casually remarked, “Your blood flows really fast, almost like a hemophiliac.”

Mason paused, then slowly said, “Really? That obvious? I’m a mild hemophiliac
Celeste froze... Why did she always speak before thinking? “I’m sorry, I wasn’t making a joke about the condition.”
Mason chuckled, “It’s okay, I’m not that sensitive, and my condition is mild
He pulled out a small bottle of medicine from his pocket and handed it to Celeste, “Could you open this for me? Sprinkle some in
my palm.” Celeste hurriedly took it, opened the bottle and sprinkled the powder into Mason’s palm. He pressed the powder onto
the wounds with a cotton ball. After about half a minute, the bleeding stopped.
Celeste was surprised. “This is like that magical ointment we see in sci–fi shows, the one that heals wounds instantly.”
Mason laughed at her comment, “Actually, it’s just thrombin.”
Mason had already experienced burns, headaches and now he had hemophilia. His life was really one hurdle after another.
In Celeste’s mind, if it were her, she’d be whining non–stop about life’s unfairness. Yet, here was Mason, still incredible and with
such a good temper. This gentle and brave soul was truly admirable.
“By the way, didn’t you mention you had something to tell me?”
At that, Mason paused a bit before saying, “It’s about that house you mentioned. I had someone check it out last night. Turns out,
someone’s already living in it. The neighbors say the family’s been there for years. The owner’s name is Daniel Campbell. Does
that ring any bells?”
