The Almighty Dragon General

A lot of information was recorded on the stone tablet, including the history of the Dark Lotus Demonic Ancestral Master and how
he took over Mount Nothingness, as well as the Dark World’s Dark Strife that led to the destruction of their era.
Mia asked. “Is there anything else? Is there nothing recorded about what is beyond this point? Does it not describe what dangers
lie ahead?”
James shook his head lightly and said, “Nothing of that sort seems to be recorded. We’ll have to find out on our own it seems.”
Hadrian said solemnly, “Since this stone tablet details the Dark Strife, it’s likely the region ahead is related to the Dark Strife.”
Herbert shook his head and said, “That might not be the case. We’re within Mount Nothingness right now. The Holy Master of
Nothingness’ inheritance must be hidden in the depths of this mountain range. No matter what’s recorded on the stone tablet, I’m
sure whatever is in the region ahead has something to do with him. Perhaps he left behind a few trials before he died.”
Standing to the side, Mia said, “We should stop guessing and start moving. We’ll find out after seeing for ourselves.”
After speaking, she turned to James and said, “Please lead the way, Mr. Caden.”
James looked at the trio. Although they knew the path ahead was fraught with danger, they insisted on accompanying him. It
seemed like they had little regard for their lives.
Since they were determined, James did not dissuade them.
He looked ahead but could not discern anything since the black mist obscured the entire area. It was impossible to clearly
identify what was hidden in the plains ahead.
Without any hesitation, James strode forward.
Hee appeared a few kilometers away with one step but maintained a steady pace as he advanced.
The group walked through the dangerous path along Mount Nothingness for a few days. Despite this, they had not yet left the
plains.
The grass got even more bizarre as they traveled deeper into the plains.
Their shape grew increasingly bizarre, and their leaves emitted black and poisonous mist. James tried to test the poison, but his
Demonic Body also showed signs of corroding after coming in contact with the mist.

Fortunately, the Demonic Energy in his body nullified the poisonous mist.
The other three proceeded more cautiously and took care not to do anything reckless. They used their energy to form a
protective barrier around their bodies to avoid coming in contact with the poisonous mist.
“There’s something ahead.”
James suddenly stopped in his tracks.
The three people following him also stopped abruptly and looked ahead of them.
At the end of the black mist was an ancient-looking black city.
It was a massive city with towering palaces that were 10,000 meters high.
James made his way there and arrived at the open field outside the city gate.
The city wall was tall, and a few ancient words were engraved onto it.
“Dead City.”
James read the words.
After seeing the words, James was slightly taken aback.
The name was familiar to him.
He immediately recalled seeing a city on Earth in the distant future. It was before the Apocalypse Age and before the seal on
Earth was opened.
The city was carried on the back of a colossal turtle and disappeared into the void.
Back then, he wanted to chase after it but could not catch up. Jace told him it was called the Silent City of Death.
However, Jace was clueless about the Dead City’s origin.
Standing behind him, Mia asked. “Why did you stop? Is something wrong?”
“N-No, it’s nothing.” James lightly shook his head.

He had no idea if the two cities were related nor had he any clue what was within the Dead City.
