The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 733
What did Daryl amount to?
She was just a regular employee at the Sinclair Group. Her infatuation with Lysander’s good looks and power was her own
business. Why did it have to affect Thalassa?
She chose to lash out at Thalassa because the man she couldn’t have fancied her? How pathetic and detestable!
Thalassa never had any intentions of usurping the place beside Lysander. She wished to be as far away from him as possible.
If not for her children still in his vicinity, she would quit her job at the Crawley Group, leave, and never look back.
But the only things she cared about in this world were with Lysander. She couldn’t leave.
Thalassa dialed Lysander’s number once again. There was no answer, just like before.
Lysander was clearly tormenting her. He wanted her to be restless and anxious.
She spent the day in a state of futility.
In the afternoon, Thalassa arrived at the daycare ten minutes early, hoping to catch a glimpse of her little ones.
As soon as she appeared, the security guard approached her and spoke with an official and detached tone. “Ms. Everhart, I’m
sorry. You cannot stay within the daycare’s premises. Please leave.”
“What?” Thalassa was taken aback.
“The principal has instructed that you keep a distance of a thousand meters from the daycare.” The guard clarified.
Thalassa’s eyebrows furrowed.
A thousand meters away from the daycare?! She wouldn’t be able to see the children at all!
This was Lysander’s doing!
Was he trying to keep her from seeing her children?
She had no recourse when he was being so ruthless.

Thalassa couldn’t argue with the guard. It was pointless, and she would only end up embarrassing herself.
Disheartened, she walked away.
In the evening, she went to Royal Estates, only to be turned away again. She wanted to see Lysander, but the guard said he
wasn’t home.
She couldn’t see the kids, nor could she see Lysander.
She didn’t even have a chance to explain or appease him.
Soon it was Friday.
For four days straight, Thalassa couldn’t eat or sleep properly. Her heart was filled with worry for her children, and, despite
numerous attempts, she couldn’t get a hold of Lysander.
Betty kept pressuring her about the contract.
All she could say was that the executive was away on a business trip and would return in a few days.
Betty wanted results by Monday.
If she failed, not only would Betty lose Mr. Ethan’s favor, but he might also be disappointed in her.
Betty had designs on Ethan. This was her best chance to impress him.
If she failed, she would surely blame Thalassa.

Thalassa was physically and mentally drained. She barely had the energy to walk.
After work, she returned home to find Evelyn absent. Then she remembered that her mother had a date today.
She wondered how it went.
As she lazed on the couch, her phone rang.
She picked up.

The matchmaker’s voice came through in a panic. “You’re Evelyn’s daughter, right? You need to come over right away. Your
mother and her date are fighting. It’s pretty intense, and no one can break them apart.”
“What? I’m on my way!” Thalassa got up quickly and rushed out the door.
