The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 764
Thalassa then heard the faint click of her seat belt being fastened.
The deep, masculine breath next to her receded; she watched Lysander with a pair of eyes glimmering with a mix of emotions.
As he straightened up, his eyes deep and inscrutable as he glanced at her before returning to the driver’s seat.
Her inner panic eased a little.
Was she being overly sensitive?
He was just buckling her seat belt, nothing more.
Lysander started the car and drove off.
As the car began to move, Thalassa finally let out a sigh of relief.
Once she calmed down, a question arose in her mind. Why was Lysander here?
She glanced down at the diamond necklace around her neck. It was glinting with a kaleidoscope of colors under the fleeting
streetlights.
She didn’t need to ask Lysander to know the answer. That’s because the pendant on the necklace contained a tracking device.
Every place she went and every behavior she made was under Lysander’s surveillance.
A sudden sense of suffocation ignited within her, making it difficult to breathe.
The car pulled up in the driveway of Royal Estates.
The hall of Royal Estates was brightly lit. Even before she stepped inside, she could hear the cheerful voices of kids.
Thalassa quickened her pace and entered the hall, where she saw four little bundles of joy chatter excitedly with Fitch about their
day at preschool. Unable to contain her delight, Thalassa exclaimed, “Babes, mommy’s here!”
The four little ones turned towards her at her words; their eyes lighted up with joy.
“Mommy!”

They let go of Fitch and ran towards Thalassa.
Watching the four ‘little penguins’ waddle towards her, all the suffocation she felt moments ago evaporated.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she knelt down to hug her little ones, pressing a loving kiss on their soft, rosy cheeks. Their
sweet, milky scent was a balm to her soul.
“Mommy, I ate so much yummy food at preschool today, and I guessed all the ingredients right. The teacher gave me a gold
star,” Elowen said; her big, adorable eyes were sparkling with excitement. She was sharing her joy with her mother.
“That’s amazing, Elowen. I bet you’re going to be a great food critic when you grow up,” Thalassa said, ruffling her little one’s
hair.
Elowen grinned from ear to ear as she was praised.
“Mommy, look, I fixed this circular pendant for you,” Sophia said as she held up the pendant. It was the same one that had gone
missing and was later found.
The table leg had cracked it but nobody else.noticed the crack itself. However, Sophia did. She had promised to fix it and now
she did.
Thalassa locked eyes with Sophia; her childish eyes were filled with anticipation and pride.
This was the first pendant she had ever fixed. She wanted to share not only the sense of achievement with her mom, but also
the pendant itself. Thalassa knew her kids better than anyone else and knew exactly what they were thinking.
She took the pendant from Sophia’s small hand and said warmly, “Thank you, Sophia. Mommy loves everything you give.”
