The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 765
Sophia’s laughter spread across her face; it was radiant and beautiful, a true reflection of her inner joy.
“Well, Mom, I don’t have anything to give you, but I did get praised by my teacher today. We put on a play and apparently, I did
pretty well.” Dorian scratched his head, trying to think of something that would impress his mom.
Thalassa caressed his cheek, her voice soft as she said, “Dorian, you’re amazing.”
Dorian beamed at her affirmation.
Thalassa then turned to Atticus and asked gently, “Atticus, do you have anything to share with mom today?”
“Mom, the teacher made me the group leader to guide the others in our studies, Atticus replied; his eyes were shining with pride.
“Wow, that’s fantastic! Being a group leader shows that you have leadership skills, Atticus.” Thalassa gave him a soft smile while
affirming him and ruffling his hair.
All four kids reveled in their mother’s praise, their faces bright with happiness. When they clustered around Thalassa, their hearts
filled with a sense of safety and security as they no longer feared losing her.
Thalassa, hand in hand with Elowen, was hopping around in circles with her. As she turned around, she met Lysander’s deep
gaze. His look was genial as he watched her play with Elowen, seemingly in a good mood.
Thalassa felt her heart skip a beat as she caught sight of him.
Playing with the kids had made her forget her worries temporarily, but the sight of Lysander’s deep gaze tightened her chest. His
presence seemed to remind her that she was under his control; even her access to her kids would rely on his approval. She
could only be free to see her own kids when he was in a good mood.
The oppression, coupled with the constant fear of losing her kids, prevented her from fully relaxing.
That night, Thalassa wanted to sleep with Elowen or Sophia:
Elowen, having had a great day, was not as clingy as usual. After her bath, she climbed into bed and told Thalassa, “Goodnight,
Mommy. You go to sleep with Dad. I won’t fight him for you anymore.”

Thalassa was taken aback, wondering why Elowen was saying things like that. Maybe Lysander said something to Elowen?
She leaned over and kissed Elowen’s tender cheek. She fondled her face as she softly said, “Silly girl, Mommy will always love
you.”
Then Elowen drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face.
When Thalassa went to Sophia’s room and found her already asleep. The boys, likewise, didn’t need her to tuck them in.
The kids seemed to be growing up fast after they arrived at Royal Estates. Thalassa struggled to keep up.
All she could do was watch them grow without interrupting or interfering.
As she stepped out of Sophia’s room and gently closed the door, a deep and magnetic voice sounded from behind her, “How
long are you planning to drag this out?”
Thalassa jumped in surprise. She turned around to see Lysander. She clutched her chest as her was heart trembling with
trepidation, “Don’t you make any noise when you walk? You freaked me out.”
Lysander’s gaze darkened. He gripped her wrist and led her upstairs.
His rough hand closed around her slender wrist, its rough texture setting her nerves on edge.
She didn’t dare say anything when she followed him to the master bedroom.
Once inside, Lysander closed the door and spun around, pinning her against it. He lifted her chin and forced her to meet his
gaze. His eyes darkened as he captured her lips in a deep kiss.
“Mmm...” All of Thalassa’s tension and humming were muffled by his lips.
As Thalassa tensed up and thought she would once again be swept away by him, Lysander released her.
She sagged against his chest; all her strength was gone. He held her by the waist as she put all her weight against him.
Lysander’s voice, husky and magnetic, echoed in her ear, “How does it feel to be pursued, hmm?”
