breath of relief.
He initially thought that Leon was more capable than he anticipated and thought he needed to reconsider his plan to take over

"Dad, Cynthion Group's potential exceeds our expectations if it can get all these families to fawn over it. We have to seize control

He knew that it would be impossible for his subordinates to capture Hugh with Caleb and the others waiting outside.
However, they would all soon leave the hotel and could not possibly stay there forever.
