The Guardian's Sword

Everyone was shocked to see the mayor of Dorodo, Quentin, attending tonight's
fundraising gala without any bodyguards but only his daughter, just like Sean
said.

After all, Quentin was the head of the city. He always had more than one
bodyguard with him wherever he

went!

However, because Sean was the host of the gala and the invitation stated that he
was allowed to bring only one guest, Quentin brought no bodyguards and only
his daughter Shania.

His action spoke louder than any words!

Shania blushed and held her father's arm tightly.

Quentin only raised his hand and coughed before leading his daughter forward
and saying to all the guests, "Commander Lennon's right. The city defense
army's main camp is Dorodo's military stronghold. It's not supposed to let too
many outsiders in. That's why the invitation restricted the number of guests. As
mayor, I must take the lead in respecting Commander Lennon's decision. After
all, it's for the sake of Dorodo's safety.”

Once Quentin spoke, all the guests nodded in agreement.

"Yes, yes. This is the city defense army's main camp. How can you just let
anyone in?"

"We should have done what Commander Lennon wanted. Commander Lennon
has given us a lot of face by letting us come to the main camp that we normally
can't come to."

"Yes, the invitation states that we can only bring one guest at most. We all did it.
Who are these three young gentlemen to bring bodyguards?”

The three heirs, Lionel, Solomon, and Nathan instantly looked ghastly pale when
so many people stood up for Sean and the city defense army.

They thought their enemies were only Sean and the city defense army, but now

do you have to say now?" Sean asked as he looked coldly at Lionel, Solomon,
and Nathan.

Commander Lennon doesn't welcome us, let's leave! Young Master Stewart and

prepared to leave with their bodyguards.

Just then, Sean suddenly raised his hand and shouted, "Stop! The city defense
army's main camp isn't a place you can come and go as you like!"

"Lionel, Solomon, and Nathan, you disrespected the rules of the city defense
army's main camp by bringing your bodyguards, making a scene in front of the
entrance, and ruining our reputation. I must detain you according to military
rules!"

The crowd instantly gasped once he spoke!

Commander Lennon was not letting Lionel, Solomon, and Nathan off the hook!
They were members of Dorodo's noble families. They were high-status heirs of
influential families!

"Sean, don't go too far! We come from important families. You can't..."

Lionel yelled at Sean, and Solomon and Nathan also looked at Sean with hatred.
