The Guardian's Sword

Onyx was going to take Sean and use him as a hostage to force his way out of
here. After all, the hotel was surrounded by the city defense army. If he wanted to
break out of there, he must have a hostage, and the most effective hostage and
the person closest to him was Sean!

Only by grabbing Sean would none of these city defense soldiers lay a hand on
him. Then he could easily leave the place.

Onyx had thrown himself at Sean. He grabbed at Sean's throat with both hands.
However, just as his hands were about to grab Sean's throat, Sean smiled and
punched Onyx in the face!

Onyx was faster, but Sean hit Onyx before he could touch him!

There was a bang, and Onyx was sent flying by Sean's punch. His nose bled as
his saliva flowed. His broken teeth also spat out of his mouth.

Onyx's brain buzzed as he lay on the floor. For a moment, he could not
remember who he was.

"How dare you attack Commander? You're foolish!" Zander said coldly.

Sean waved his hand and said casually, "Onyx is also a tough character. Give
him some respect... Tie him up and take him back to the main camp! And don't let
go of all the security guards in this hotel. They're all members of Onyx Dragon
Gang."

The city defense soldiers immediately rushed upstairs to the private rooms,
subdued all the security guards, and escorted them outside the hotel. At the
same time, a shrill siren rang from nearby.

People from the sheriff's department were here.

Five of the sheriff's department cars pulled up to Onyx Dragon Hotel's entrance,
and more than two dozen sheriffs got out.

The leader was none other than the chief sheriff of the sheriff's department,
Dwayne Zimmerman!

"What's going on?"

Dwayne shouted as soon as he got out of the car.

Sean and Zander happened to come out of the hotel entrance holding Onyx.
Onyx was wrapped up like a burrito and unable to move.

Seeing Dwayne, Onyx quickly screamed for help like he had seen a savior.
"Brother Dwayne! Save me! Save me... I gave you so many benefits. It's time for
you to save me!"

Dwayne's expression instantly changed.

Sean turned around to look at Dwayne with a half-smile.

"Chief Sheriff Zimmerman, Onyx said he'll give you benefits. What's this about?"
Upon hearing Sean's inquiry, Dwayne quickly replied, "Commander Lennon, don't
misunderstand. Onyx is trying to set me up!"

"When have I ever taken benefits from him? Commander Lennon, Onyx is the
head of Onyx Dragon Gang. You've got evidence against him and captured him.
You're stealing the sheriff's department's job. Why don't you hand all the
evidence and these people to the sheriff's department? We will take this seriously
and not let go of these criminals!"

Dwayne spoke righteously like he was some righteous man. However, Sean
shook his head slowly.

"Onyx Dragon Gang has been around for years, and Onyx Dragon Gang has
committed so many crimes all these years. But the sheriff's department has
never investigated them..."

"Once the city defense army went after Onyx Dragon Gang, the sheriff's
department came and asked us to hand them over... Hahaha, Dwayne, it's hard
to clear your name..."

Sean's words made Dwayne's body shake violently.
