Hearing the sudden voice, Max's expression suddenly changed as he
immediately turned around to look toward the sound.

A middle-aged man dressed in a green outfit was smiling as he walked toward
Max.

"Whew! It's you, Master Scott. You scared me!" Max said, patting himself on the
chest.

With the Lake family's rise over the years, Sky Sect had maintained a good
relationship with them. Otherwise, the Lake family would not be able to hire one
of Sky Sect's elders.

Jorge Scott walked over to Max and touched Max's shoulder with one finger. The
fatigue on Max's face quickly dissipated as a warm stream rushed down his
shoulders and over his body.

"I wonder what you came to Sky Sect for, Mr. Lake," Jorge said with a smile.

As his fatigue dissipated, Max immediately rose from the boulder and said, "The
lunatic who killed Don has come to Janestown!"

"What?" Jorge exclaimed instantly.

Before Max could speak again, he felt a terrible force coming from his collar.
Then, Max's vision became a blur as the wind kept blowing past his ears.
Anyone who saw this would probably be so scared that they would turn around
and run down the mountain. Holding Max by the collar in one hand, Jorge walked
briskly up the stone steps. His pace was even faster than athletes when they ran.
Thump!

Within minutes, Jorge led Max to Sky Sect's entrance. Max sat down on the
ground, gasping for breath.
